About Christopher Williams, PhD
Dr. Williams is a public health researcher who is also a freelancing artist specializing in photography and graphic design. In addition to clothing design, his work has been exhibited in the Smithsonian Institution - To Live and Breathe: Women and Environmental Justice in Washington, D.C. that ran from May 2023 to January 2024. His 14-panel of the Pearl Escape of 1848 was a public art showcase in 2022. He has received grant funding from DC Humanities and vended at festivals and markets including Eastern Market, Hester Street Market (NYC), Pancakes and Booze, DC State Fair, and Southwest Art Market.
